Hawaii is my happy place 🐳🌺

Hi everyone!! Sorry I haven't sent an email in so long....hehe whoops. This transfer has been so much fun being in a trio!! We've been over two wards so we've been super busy and we've had so much fun together!! Wednesday starts my last transfer....I'll be staying in Milillani in the Waipiolani ward and I'll be training a new sister straight from the MTC, Sister Burton! I'm nervous haha. I'll also be a traveling STL so I'll be traveling around Oahu to the other zones doing exchanges with the STLs...which will be fun and different!

We've been teaching a family, Michael, Terri, and Michelle. They live across from our Bishop. Michelle, the daughter is definitely more interested than her parents. We took her to the temple on Friday with our Bishop's family! It was awesome! We've asked them to be baptized and they said no....for now😏. We've been teaching some other people too but if I talked about them all this would be the longest email haha.

I can't believe that this is my last transfer. I got my flight plans and I fly home March 11. Hawaii is my happy place so I'm getting pretty sad. But I do miss all of you too:)) so I'm excited to see everyone. I hope that everyone has a great week!! Love you all!! 💙💙

Tsunami warnings, car accidents, and six months -- March 8, 2021

Aloha!! Man this week was crazy busy! I love being busy again!! I hit my six months last week which I don't want to talk about...so crazy. I feel like I've been a missionary for a week but also five years at the same time haha. So on Tuesday we went and got some ice cream and sat by the beach which was fun. We had interviews on Wednesday with President Walker which is always a party. I also won the Kahoot that we played..no big deal. On Thursday we had a zone flood in Lihue! Sister Larson and I made a new friend for the Lihue Elders named Ramina! Also, we had a huge miracle this week!! We had a member named Summer who we hadn't met yet text us. She told us that her sister Lacey and her husband want to start having the missionary lessons and that they have an eight year old daughter who they want baptized... That does not happen like ever so we were so excited!!!! We've taught them one lesson so far and it went alright. I was kind of all over the place in the lesson b...

So I guess this is my last weekly email. I get home on Thursday morning. It's very bittersweet. I'm so sad to leave Hawaii but so excited to see my family. This last week was so good and so hard saying bye to everyone. We were able to go to the temple yesterday with some investigators and it was amazing. What's up everyone! So I will be transferring to Oahu in Milillani tomorrow! I'm super sad to leave Kauai but I'm excited too! I'll be follow up training Sister Nahipali and I'm nervous but excited! Kauai will forever hold a special place in my heart. The Island and the people here are amazing!! All I gotta say is, #KauaiMoBettah MATTHEW GOT BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY!! It was such a miracle and such a special day! It was a perfect day. He felt so good after and he kept telling us how amazing he felt. I'm so proud of him! He's so amazing!
