Ivie's Missionary Journey

What's up everyone! This was was SO COOL!! So many blessings and miracles happened so I'm sorry I won't write about them all or you'll be reading this all day haha. Our mission is doing a Book of Mormon challenge where we read the BOM in 65 days(the time that Joseph Smith translated it). I am LOVING it!! I love the BOM so much and I know you all know that but I've always had such a strong testimony of it. We also handed out 5 BOMs to people this week who like actually wanted them. 😂 Idk why I thought I'd be handing out so many on my mission but you really don't. 5 is the most I've handed out in a week so far! WE PUT MATTHEW ON DATE TO BE BAPTIZED ON AUGUST 31!!! GUYS. HUGE MIRACLE!!! He told us that he wanted to be baptized but within 2 years. But we basically made him pick a date within the next three months and he said August 31! He is so ready he just needed to realize it. We're all so excited!! Hey guys! Sorry I didn't send an email last week but it was a CRAZY busy pday last week! Sister Thomas went home and Sister Larson got transferred to Makakilo on Oahu. We were running around like crazy all weekend. Imma miss Sister Thomas and Larson so much! They taught me a lot and they'll be some of my best friends forever.  I'm still here in Kalaheo thank goodness! My new comp is Sister Mabbutt!! She is SO sweet and SO knowledgeable!! I'm super excited to be with her!! We went from 18 missionaries in our zone to 10 which is crazyyyyyy. So on transfer day I was without a companion for like 3 hours.  I was with the Elders and it was so fun but so weird hahaha. I also drove by myself a few times which was also weird.  GET THIS! When I was in Htown we posted an add for free service and this lady named Anjelica asked for some help. She lived in Milillani so we passed her off to the Sisters there who was Sister Mabbutt and Sister Brown(from Htown) at the time. And they...

What's up everyone, Happy Monday! The title of the email is what Aunty Faith said to us last night at dinner hahaha. This week was great. We haven't been able to see Kawai because she's been with her dad and he's being a punk right now. We're going to lunch with her sister this week so hopefully she comes.  🏼 We've been teaching Matthew twice a week and it's going great! We taught him the priesthood with a member in our ward and it was a fun lesson. His birthday is on Saturday and he wants to hangout with us and some of the youth so that will be fun! Other than that not much else happened. We had all of our weekly meetings and trainings. This is our last week with Sister Thomas before she goes home so we're really sad. Transfers are next week already.    Thanks for all of the love and support! You guys are the best!
