Happy Monday everyone and Aloha! This week was good. First off...we put Leilynn on date to be baptized on May 2!! Woo hoo! We found out the day after that both of her parents are actually members. So, it isn't a convert baptism. But the family is less active.
We made two new friends this week, Beverly and Jim. Also, all of our friends except for three came to church yesterday!
They just kept trickling in and we were so excited everytime we saw one of them walk in. Blessings for sure. This week also had its challenges. Things just kept happening that were hard and frustrating but I couldn't do anything about it so I had to remember that it was out of my control. I had to listen to Three Little Birds by Bob Marley A LOT this week haha.
I've been reading Saints again on my mission and I'm on Saints volume 2 now. This week I read about George Q Cannon and the other missionaries who came to Hawaii. When they first got here, they dedicated themselves to the work and they dedicated the Hawaiian Islands for missionary work. Well, we still do that in this mission! Unfortunately because of COVID, I wasn't able to to do it. But right when missionaries arrive, the mission president and his wife take the missionaries to this spot on Oahu. It's called Tantalus! I've been there, but I wasn't able to do that with President and Sister Walker. But it was so cool to read more about that.
Anyways, things are happening here that's for sure. I see blessings and tender mercies everyday and I'm so grateful for that. I love being a missionary! Have a great week everyone, love you all!

I saw this on Facebook and loved it. I think it's so true:)
