Happy Easter! ๐Ÿฃ -- March 29, 2021

Aloha everyone!  This week was another good and busy week! We've been visiting lots of people and we did some service this week too. Lacey and Leilynn canceled on us again...so hopefully this week we can meet with them again.  ๐Ÿป It is raining a lot again so prayers would be awesome! I am super excited for General Confernece and Easter this weekend!! I hope you all are too. I am so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ. He makes everything possible. I know that he suffered greatly for all of us. I know that he overcame death and that he loves us so much. I love this time of year! Thanks for all of the love and support! The goats ๐Ÿ-- March 22, 2001

What's up everyone and Aloha! This week was busy which was good. The AP's were on Kauai for a few days so that was fun. We had A TON of member appointments this week. We had one every night except for Wednesday. We go to Institute on Wednesday nights.  We weren't able to meet with any investigators this week.   Lacey and Leilynn had to cancel and it just didn't work out for Albert this week. So we did a lot of member work this week which was awesome.  We had a busy week but nothing was too exciting haha. We're planning a youth activity in April and it's going to be hecka fun so stay tuned. We went to a member's house, The Johnsons, yesterday to start planning the activity. They have a farm with a ton of goats and other animals. They have baby goats that are a week old and they are SO CUTE! I was holding one and he just fell asleep and it was the cutest thing ever.  This week we talked a lot about trials and how they will come. Part of why we're here on e...

The rains came down, and the floods came up ๐ŸŒง☔-- March 15, 2021

Aloha!! This week was kind of crazy...it was a hard week. I'm not sure if you all saw, but Hawaii had severe rainfall and floods this week on all of the Islands. It was scary. We drove a lot this week and I thought for sure we'd get into an accident a few times because of the rain. Two men even died on Maui from a landslide. Crazy stuff.  The weather made us hecka depressed so that was kind of hard. We taught Lacey and Laylynn again on Friday! Lacey asked if Laylynn can get baptized in May..of course we said yes haha. But we're a little concerned because we think that Lacey just wants to baptize her just to baptize her. Clearly we want her to be baptized and converted to the church, not just baptized just because. Laylynn does not want to be baptized either. So it's a work in progress. Honestly, not much happened this week because of the weather.  We did meet with a couple in our ward, the Brown's. They were the Mission President and wife of the Alpine, Germany miss...

Tsunami warnings, car accidents, and six months -- March 8, 2021

Aloha!! Man this week was crazy busy! I love being busy again!! I hit my six months last week which I don't want to talk about...so crazy. I feel like I've been a missionary for a week but also five years at the same time haha. So on Tuesday we went and got some ice cream and sat by the beach which was fun. We had interviews on Wednesday with President Walker which is always a party. I also won the Kahoot that we played..no big deal.  On Thursday we had a zone flood in Lihue! Sister Larson and I made a new friend for the Lihue Elders named Ramina!  Also, we had a huge miracle this week!! We had a member named Summer who we hadn't met yet text us. She told us that her sister Lacey and her husband want to start having the missionary lessons and that they have an eight year old daughter who they want baptized...  That does not happen like ever so we were so excited!!!! We've taught them one lesson so far and it went alright. I was kind of all over the place in the lesson b...

Tommy, Will, Larry, and Earl -- March 1, 2021

Aloha!! On Tuesday I was in Maui getting ready to come to Kauai. We went to the airport THREE times on Tuesday either saying bye to missionaries or welcoming them in. Man the workers there probably hate missionaries.๐Ÿคฆ‍♀️ I got to Kauai on Wednesday and oh my goodness it is beautiful here!! I thought that Oahu was my favorite Island, then I thought Lanai was, then I thought Maui was, and now I think that Kauai is haha. They're all beautiful in different ways. Sister Larson and I are kind of white washing but kind of not. We live together and kind of don't know what we're doing. But Sisters Thomas and Wilson are in the same ward as us which is honestly hard. It can be confusing, but we're figuring it out.  Sisters Thomas and Wilson are super fun! They come up with boy names to call all of the sister's so I'm Earl, Sister Larson is Larry, Sister Wilson is Will, and Sister Thomas is Tommy. Haha kind of weird but it works I guess. We week plan with them which is fun...
